베네토(Beneteau)-유럽피안 올해의 요트(European Yacht of the year)로 선정
지난 1월 20일 드셀도르프 보트쇼(Dusseldorf Boat Show)에서 진행된 유럽피안 올해의 요트(European Yacht of the year) 시상식에서 베네토(Beneteau)가 디자인 및 혁신적인 기술과 개발력을 인정받아 특별상을 수상했다.
또한, 베네토의 First 34.7과 First 50두 모델이 경합 끝에 동시에 유럽피안 올해의 요트로 선정 되었으며, 더불어 유럽 요트 관련 매거진의 편집장(Yate, Batnytt, Yachting World, Yacht Revue, Swiss Boat Yachting, Yacht, Waterkampioen)들로 구성된 심사위원단은 지속적인 혁신성과 개발성을 인정하여 베네토사를 올해의 유럽 요트 공급사로 선정하였다.
심사위원장이자 Die Yacht의 편집장 Delius Klasing은 1년 동안 오셔니스(Oceanis)40피트와 50피트 사이의 4가지의 신모델을 개발한 베네토의 능력을 높이 평가했음을 강조했다. 특히, 이번 심사에서 심사위원단은 지속적으로 디자인과 성능을 향상시켜 소비자에게 보다 넓은 요트선택의 기회를 제공해오고 있는 점에서 베네토사를 선정하였다.
이러한 특징이 잘 나타나 있는 모델이 바로 First50 모델이다.
이 특별상은 심사위원단의 최근 수개월간의 심사숙고 끝에 결정되었다.

Special “European Boatyard of the Year” Award for Bénéteau.
At the European Yacht of the Year awards ceremony held on Saturday 20 January this year as part of the Düsseldorf Boat Show organized by Delius Klasing (publishers of ‘Die Yacht’ and ‘Boote’ magazines), Chantiers Bénéteau received a Special Award in recognition of our exceptional talent for Innovation and Development.
Our First 34.7 and First 50 models were nominated for the title of European Yacht of the Year, but rather than give an award to one or other of these two exceptional yachts, the judging panel of European yachting journalists (from Yate, Batnytt, Yachting World, Yacht Revue, Swiss Boat Yachting, Yacht, Badnyt and Waterkampioen) made the decision to reward Chantiers Bénéteau as a company by creating the special award of European Boatyard of the Year in recognition of its commitment to Innovation and Development.
The Editor-in-Chief of Die Yacht and Chairman of the judging panel stressed the strength demonstrated by Bénéteau’s ability to introduce 4 new 40’-50’ Océanis models within the space of one year.
The judging panel also wanted to recognize the ongoing commitment of Bénéteau to offer its customers a range of yachts that continually deliver more visual appeal, greater comfort and higher performance; a commitment well-illustrated by the innovatively-designed First 50.
This Special Award is a very welcome and much-appreciated sign of recognition from the yachting press of all the hard work done in recent months.
